Middle East University, Ready for Its Close-up: Campus Featured on Television

The campus of Middle East University, often cited as one of the students' favorite features, is being prominently displayed on television as part of a Lebanese-Syrian soap opera entitled Ruby that is premiering on LBCI from Saturdays to Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m.  The show is about a college girl from a poor family who is determined to lead a wealthy life. Some of its 90 episodes were filmed on the campus of Middle East University.  Viewers of the program, including faculty members, students and alumni are proud to display their University.  One alumna stated, "Watching my university's campus on TV was such an amazing feeling. Its good to see such appreciation for such an amazing location. I miss the university."

Middle East University is a Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher education.
