Technology and Communications
An important aspect of the university life is being connected with classmates, friends, teachers, family members, campus events, and student activities. For MEU students, it has become easier to be connected with both the inside and the outside worlds. The Internet service, the on-campus wireless access, the personal e-mail account, and the university website definitely facilitate a student’s connectivity and provide all the needed and necessary information. Technical support is also available by the Information Technology (IT) Department in case computer intricacies emerge.

Technology

It is obvious that nowadays technology is fundamental to students’ learning. MEU classrooms, residence halls, library, and computer center include all the technology that students may need to conduct research, prepare presentations, and share or edit files on the net. The university’s computer center is used for instructional purposes as well as for students’ academic use.

Students are issued identification cards at the time of admission to the university. The ID number/card is used in all university records and official documents. The card is renewed at registration time every semester, and remains the property of the university. The card may be used to check out books from the library and to conduct any other campus transaction.

Communications

With the university website, Academic Catalog, handbooks, electronic newsletters, and other publications that MEU provides, information is straightforwardly provided to all.

The annual publication of the yearbook, Pine Echoes, has always been an exciting endeavor where memories have been artistically captured and inventively documented.
