Responsible Conduct of Research Certificates
Research ethics standards protect you, your study subjects, the university, and the community. As a researcher at MEU, you will need to complete a certificate in responsible conduct of research. A digital copy of the certificate must be received by the Research Director before any research proposals are approved. There are a variety of certificates available, so you can choose. To earn a certificate, please follow one of the following links:

Animal Research
Any research proposal involving animals must be approved by the Research Ethics Committee (REC) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Researchers must earn a certificate in humane care and use of animals in addition to the certificate for responsible conduct of research. Please contact the Research Director for details.
