We Came to Learn, We Leave to Make a Difference
Graduation 2026 was a celebration of achievement, growth, and new beginnings. As students crossed the stage, the MEU community reflected on a journey marked by learning, friendship, faith, and personal development. More than earning a degree, graduates leave with lasting memories, strong values, and a commitment to make a positive difference in the world, carrying forward the experiences and relationships that shaped their time at MEU.

A Time of Gratitude and Fellowship
Faculty, staff, and their families gathered in Beit Chabeb for an evening of fellowship, gratitude, and celebration of God’s blessings throughout the academic year. The event featured a cultural tour, a shared dinner, engaging activities, and special moments of appreciation and reflection. The evening concluded with thanksgiving for another challenging yet fruitful year and prayers for colleagues embarking on new paths of service.

MEU Board Highlights Institutional Progress and Future Planning
During its Spring meeting, the MEU Board of Trustees reviewed key institutional developments, including the approval of the annual report and the 2026–2027 Academic Catalog, the continuation of accreditation through 2029, faculty promotions, and new enrollment initiatives. The Board also discussed long-term financial planning and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening MEU’s mission of providing Christ-centered education and transforming lives throughout the region.

Football, Friends, and a Day Well Spent
Students from several schools came together at the campus of Middle East University on April 26 for a football tournament that went beyond the matches — creating space for connection, shared moments, and a day well spent among friends.

MEU Receives Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA) Evaluation Visit
Middle East University welcomed a delegation from the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA) for its official evaluation visit—an important step in reaffirming MEU’s commitment to academic excellence, mission-driven education, and continuous institutional development.
The visit brought together a team of leaders from the global Adventist educational network, representing fields such as higher education administration, theology, finance, missions, and academic quality.
Over three days, the committee met with MEU’s leadership, faculty, staff, students, and members of the Board of Trustees. They visited classrooms, reviewed processes, engaged in open dialogue, and examined how MEU lives out its mission.

A New Chapter for MEU: Dr. John Issa Appointed Vice President for Public Relations and Marketing
From October 22–25, 2025, the Chile Adventist University (UNACH) in Chillán hosted the 7th International “I Will Go” Youth Congress, convening a truly global gathering. Over 4,200 Adventist youth (mainly university students and young adults) from 26 countries filled the campus for worship, training, and fellowship.
