MEU News Campus & Technology
The donation strengthens MEU's technological resources and will help expand access to computers for students, faculty, and staff.
Beirut, Lebanon — Middle East University (MEU) is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous donation of computer equipment from AdventHealth, marking another meaningful contribution to the university's educational mission.
Received on September 8, 2026, the donation includes 39 HP EliteBook laptops and 40 HP ProDesk desktop computers, providing additional technological resources to support teaching, learning, and daily operations across campus.
Strengthening the Learning Environment
Access to technology plays an important role in today's university experience. From researching and completing assignments to developing practical digital skills, students rely on computers as essential tools throughout their academic journey.
The donated equipment will help MEU strengthen its technological infrastructure, with particular attention to the university's computer lab.
Some of the computers are already being used on campus, while the remaining equipment is being prepared for its primary purpose: equipping the computer lab and expanding the technological resources available to students.
This contribution supports MEU's ongoing commitment to creating a learning environment where students have access to the tools and opportunities they need to develop their knowledge, strengthen their skills, and prepare for their future careers.
More Than Equipment, an Investment in Education
The significance of this donation goes beyond the number of computers received.
Each device represents an additional resource that can support learning, facilitate academic activities, and contribute to the everyday experiences of the MEU community.
For a university committed to transformative education, strengthening access to technology is part of a broader effort to connect academic knowledge with practical learning and personal development.
