Witnessing a Journey of Growth
One of the greatest blessings of serving as a sponsor for this year’s graduation was the opportunity to spend time with our graduating class and get to know them more closely. While much of my interaction with them came through graduation preparations, some of my favorite moments were the simple daily encounters—greeting them around campus, sharing brief conversations, and watching them navigate the final steps of their journey at Middle East University.
As graduation approached, I found myself appreciating just how special this group truly is. They are creative, energetic, caring, and deeply connected to one another. More importantly, many of them developed a genuine love for MEU. It was clear that for them, this university became more than a place to earn a degree; it became a home where friendships were built, memories were made, and lives were shaped.
Watching them walk across the graduation stage was a moment filled with mixed emotions. There was great joy in celebrating their accomplishments and seeing the results of years of hard work. At the same time, there was a sense of sadness, knowing that such a unique and remarkable group would soon leave our campus. Their presence has added so much life, warmth, and energy to the MEU community, and they will certainly be missed.
As I reflect on this graduating class, I am filled with gratitude to God for the privilege of witnessing a part of their journey. I believe He has wonderful plans ahead for each of them. While they may be leaving MEU, the values, experiences, friendships, and faith they have developed here will continue to guide them wherever life leads.
To the Class of 2026, thank you for the memories, the smiles, and the example you have been to our university community. Congratulations on this important achievement. We are proud of you, we will miss you, and we look forward to seeing how God continues to lead and bless your lives in the years ahead.

A Journey Worth Remembering
This year’s graduation was a moment filled with every kind of emotion. I felt happy, proud, grateful, emotional, and even a little sad because graduation marks the end of a very special chapter. As a graduate of Middle East University, this day meant much more than simply receiving a diploma. It represented years of growth, challenges, memories, friendships, and the support of many people who helped us reach this milestone.
What makes Middle East University special is the way it supports its students. MEU is not only a place where we came to study, but a place where we grew as people. Over the years, my friends became like family, and the relationship we built with our teachers was truly unique. They were not only there to teach us, but also to guide us, encourage us, and help us become better versions of ourselves. Of course, I would not be here without my family, whose love, sacrifices, and support carried me through this journey.
One of the most emotional moments for me was seeing everyone receive their diplomas. At that moment, I felt so happy and proud, not only for myself, but for all of us. Each graduate had their own story, their own struggles, and their own reasons to celebrate. Seeing everyone reach that stage reminded me that graduation is not just an individual achievement, but a shared victory for students, families, teachers, and the whole MEU community.
Our class aim was “to grow as individuals of integrity, knowledge, and compassion, prepared to create positive change in the world.” Looking back, I believe this aim truly reflects our journey. We came to MEU to learn, but we are leaving with much more than knowledge. We are leaving with values, memories, faith, friendships, and a desire to make a difference. As our motto says, “We came to learn; we leave to make a difference.” This graduation was not only an ending, but the beginning of a new responsibility to carry what we learned into the world.
