Bachelor of Business Administration · Marketing Concentration

Marketing

Understand consumers. Turn insight into value.

Learn how consumers think, what they need and value, and how organizations turn that understanding into products, services, experiences, and marketing strategies. Build a broad business foundation while exploring consumer behavior, research, digital marketing, promotion, and marketing management.

Marketing Beyond Promotion

Marketing starts before the promotion begins.

Marketing is not simply about advertising a product after it has been created.

It begins with understanding consumers — what they need, what they value, what influences their choices, and where opportunities may exist.

From there, marketers use research to help shape products, services, experiences, positioning, and ways of bringing value to the market. Communication, advertising, content, and digital channels are important parts of that process, but they are only part of a much broader picture.

At MEU, you learn to connect consumer understanding, research, business strategy, value creation, and communication as parts of one marketing process.

Coming soon — we are working on it.

Your Marketing Foundation

Build the business foundation behind Marketing.

Marketing decisions make more sense when you understand the business around them.

You build knowledge in accounting, economics, finance, management, statistics, data analytics, entrepreneurship, and business strategy.

From there, your Marketing concentration takes you deeper into consumer behavior, research, digital marketing, advertising and promotion, marketing management, and related areas.

The goal is not simply to learn how to communicate an offering. It is to understand the market, recognize what creates value, and see how different marketing decisions work together.
