As part of our commitment to the future of Middle East University, the Marketing and Recruitment teams are working hard to expand our reach and welcome a new generation of students to our campus. This spring, several initiatives are underway to strengthen student recruitment and build MEU’s visibility across Lebanon and beyond.
New Partnerships and Scholarships
We are excited to share that MEU has signed 15 Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with leading feeder schools — 13 from Lebanon, Nile Union Academy (Egypt), and Adventist National School (Jordan). Students from these schools are now eligible for a 60% scholarship on tuition. Additionally, students ranking in the top 10% of their graduating class may qualify for our prestigious Academic Excellence Scholarship, covering 100% of tuition.
Faculty and staff from partner schools are also eligible for a 50% tuition scholarship for undergraduate and graduate programs at MEU — a step that we hope will strengthen both academic collaboration and community ties.
Marketing Campaign: Honoring the Future
Between April and May, MEU is running a comprehensive marketing campaign in collaboration with Good Timbers, our marketing agency. With a focus on both digital outreach and traditional marketing, the campaign aims to drive awareness and student applications.
Key highlights include:
• Billboards: In partnership with Pikasso, we have launched 7 large billboards (14m x 3m) displayed for a month, and 100 small billboards (4m x 3m) for two weeks, strategically placed throughout major roads and cities.
• Social Media and Google Ads: A dynamic online presence featuring student life, enrollment FAQs, faculty spotlights, and an animated motion graphic promoting the Honor Loan Program.
• Website Updates: We have launched a brand-new, mobile-friendly, and user-focused MEU website to better serve prospective students and their families.
The heart of our messaging is the Honor Loan Program, a unique initiative funded by the Cesan Family Scholarship Fund. This innovative loan program allows qualified students to receive up to 80% of their tuition, with the understanding that they will “pay it forward” by repaying the loan after graduation to support future MEU students. The program reflects MEU’s values of service, responsibility, and lifelong impact.
Engaging Students through Sports and Events
To give prospective students a first-hand taste of life at MEU, two high school sports tournaments were held on campus on April 6 and April 27. These lively, energetic events not only promoted MEU’s academic offerings but also emphasized the community spirit and vibrant student life that define our campus.On May 6 we will host an Open Doors event on campus, with Adel Metni Foundation (AMF) as special guest. AMF aims to raise the ‘Defensive Anticipative Driving Techniques’ among trainees from all disciplines, with a special emphasis on teen-age/young drivers in Lebanon and the region. Besides, visiting high school students will meet with MEU academic advisors from different majors, and tour the campus.
Visiting Potential Students in the Region and Beyond
Since MEU serves the Middle East and North Africa region, we would like to see more students from these countries. To achieve this objective, during the months of April and May, we are sending pairs of faculty and staff to visit potential students in Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Besides, we sent a faculty member with two students to a Youth Conference in Germany.

We are optimistic that this multifaceted approach — combining scholarships, partnerships, events, billboards, digital marketing, and financial assistance — will result in increased awareness, greater interest, and ultimately, more student applications.
