Middle East University proudly celebrated its 85th Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming under the theme, Celebrating the Light on the Hilltop. The festivities brought together alumni, faculty, staff, and students for three memorable days filled with connection, reflection, and joy.
The celebration commenced on Friday, May 16, with the Vesper program, where alumni shared heartfelt testimonies, followed by a reception with refreshments. On Sabbath, May 17, alumni shared inspiring stories of how God is using them to shine around the world, culminating in a powerful anniversary sermon by Dr. Raja Farah. A joyful lunch on the lawn provided a wonderful opportunity for old friends to reconnect and create new memories—truly a time to celebrate success and service.
The weekend concluded on a high note on Sunday with a charming gala dinner and a mini piano concert. It was a perfect way to honor our legacy while looking forward to brighter days ahead. We sincerely thank everyone who joined us—alumni, students, board members, friends, faculty, and staff—for making this celebration so special. Most importantly, we give thanks to the Lord for using MEU and everyone who studies and works here for His work. We pray that His Light and Truth will always dwell in our hearts and minds.
