Bio
With a Master’s Degree in TESOL and ten years of experience teaching English as a second
language, I enjoy helping students grow more confident in their English skills. From
beginners to advanced students, it is always exciting to witness their progress as they are
challenged to improve in our various classes. My research interests are: adult learners
speaking proficiency development, acculturation, overcoming the intermediate plateau, and
the use of AI in language teaching and learning.
I also hold a degree in Music, and I take every opportunity to be involved in music activities. I
have conducted choirs since I was in high school and enjoy playing the piano and singing. I
am married to Dr. Carlos Biaggi, and we have two children: Giuliana and Giovanni.
