On May 21, 2025, representatives from the Faculty of Business at Middle East University embarked on an insightful field trip to the War College in Lebanon, a premier institution dedicated to strategic military education and leadership development. The visit included Dr. Philippe W. Zgheib, Alissar Alkhoury, and Emad Mehany, who engaged in a series of discussions and presentations exploring the intersection of military strategy, national security, and leadership principles. The experience offered a unique opportunity to connect academic frameworks in business and leadership with real-world applications in defense and strategic planning. This enriching exchange highlighted MEU’s commitment to interdisciplinary learning and its continuous efforts to expose students and faculty to diverse professional perspectives and institutions.
