“In times like this, we resort to God—our strength, our refuge, and our salvation. May God end this war and bring peace. May He use us to help the people in Beirut who are suffering as a result of this conflict. May God continue to protect and encourage each MEU student, faculty, and staff. May MEU remain in God’s hands.”

Yours in God’s service,

Dr. Carlos Biaggi

President

MEU Hands

The ongoing crisis has forced many families to leave everything behind, and they now face the harsh reality of living without basic necessities, including food. As a university that has always been committed to service and compassion, we are launching an initiative to provide meals to these families, offering them not only sustenance but also hope.

Faculty, staff, students, and our local community are working together to ensure that every meal reaches those who need it most. It is truly a joint effort, and your support will enable us to extend our reach even further.

For just $100, we can provide meals to 100 people who are in critical need. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact. By visiting meu.edu.lb/donate, you can learn more about the campaign and how you can help.

You can also sign up to help us throughout the week and choose how many shifts and days you would like to volunteer.

For now, we have three work shifts each day:

• 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (2 people): Food Preparation
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (4 people): Packing
• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (4 people): Distribution

Please make sure to register if you plan to participate. This helps us track the manpower needed.
