MEU Academic Update #5

Dear MEU Teachers and Students,
Given the benefits of face-to-face learning and that the Ministry of Education has prioritized in-person education whenever possible, particularly for practical courses,
And given that the security situation in the area around Middle East University is stable
enough that elementary and high schools in the area remain open for in-person classes,
Beginning on Monday, October 28, 2024, instruction for most classes at MEU will transition to a hybrid model (in-person for those able to safely travel to MEU with online options for others).
We understand the situation is complex and to ensure flexibility for both teachers and students, exceptions to participate online for security purposes will be permitted on a case- by-case basis. Please contact your Faculty Dean by Friday, October 25, 2024, to request an exception if needed.
Further academic updates will be circulated as relevant. Let us work together to make this a successful semester.
