Announcement October 6, 2024

Dear MEU Teachers and Students,
MEU classes start tomorrow morning Monday, 7 October. This Update is to remind you:

• Online will be the predominant mode of instruction for the remainder of this semester.
• Course materials shall be accessible remotely. The default platform is Learning Hub https://learninghub.meu.edu.lb where you need to login using your MEU email. Teachers do have the freedom to use Google Classroom if they prefer.
• Courses shall provide real time interaction and follow the regularly scheduled class time to avoid scheduling conflicts.
• Teachers shall communicate clearly to students the Google Meet link for their course in advance and any other information on how the syllabus and class have been adapted. Some labs may require an occasional in-person component or special arrangement.
• The MEU library and/or a classroom will be available on class days should there be some students who wish to come to MEU and use the campus internet for their classes.
• Please check your email and WhatsApp accounts regularly and be responsive.
• During this time of challenge, it is important that all—both teachers and students— take the initiative to stay in touch and govern their learning. Make sure that no one is left behind.Further academic updates will be circulated as relevant. Let us work together to make this a successful semester.
