I obtained BA in Theology from Belgrade Theological School (Belgrade, Serbia), MDiv Equivalency with the emphasize in OT and PhD Religion from Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary of Andrews University (Berrien Springs, Michigan, USA). My specialty is biblical exegesis and interpretation with a special emphasis on ritual texts of the Old Testament. The key topic of my research is Atonement in the Old Testament along with related topics such as sacrificial system in Ancient Israel, hamartiology, theology of biblical sanctuary, holiness, and biblical law.
Presently, my research gravitates around various topics related to the biblical sanctuary to complete multiple entries for the forthcoming Seventh-day Adventist International Biblical and Theological Dictionary. I continue to research and refine my view Atonement in the Old Testament and as a result I regularly present research papers at Adventist Theological Society and Society of Biblical Literature conferences.
I have taught for Old Testament Department of Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary of Andrews University for four years as an adjunct professor (2015-2019) and since 2019 I teach at Middle East University as a full-time Professor of Religion.
