Solar Energy
There is currently an energy and electricity problem in Lebanon. The country has been facing frequent power cuts, electricity shortages, and blackouts for many years. The situation has deteriorated recently, resulting in an increase from 50% to 90% reliance on MEU’s diesel generator. The heavier reliance on the generator results in higher energy cost, faster deterioration of the generator, and higher air and sound pollution. MEU plans to install a solar panel system to provide sustainable and renewable energy to its campus.
Worship & Media Center
Middle East University’s vision is, by God’s presence and power, to facilitate the transformation of students into men and women who are distinguished by their personal, professional, service-oriented and faith-based lives. This is the vision that prepares local workers and lay members for leadership for God’s work in the MENA region. This calls us to address our campus of three main 70-year-old buildings and reorient MEU’s physical environment with the significant capital improvement of a worship/media center.
Student Center
The Student Center Project represents a transformative initiative for both students and Middle East University. This modern, multifunctional space will foster student growth by providing areas for collaboration, learning, and relaxation, while also supporting the university’s vision of creating a dynamic, engaging campus environment. Designed with innovation and community in mind, the center will be a hub for leadership development and academic success. With your support, this project will not only enhance student life but also leave a lasting legacy of institutional growth and opportunity for future generations.
